CHATTERBOMB

Terms of Service

Effective July 17, 2026

Chatterbomb (the "Service"), available at chatterbomb.live, is an anonymous exchange: you send text, pictures, or short videos into a shared pool, and receive content of the same kind from a random stranger. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

The Service is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to use it. By entering, you confirm that you are.

2. Anonymity and your token

The Service has no accounts. Your identity within the Service is an anonymous token stored in your browser. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, that identity — including your star rating and conversations — is permanently unrecoverable. We cannot restore it.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you cast or send. By submitting content, you grant the operator of the Service a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, moderate, and deliver that content to other users as needed to run the Service. Content you send is delivered to one random recipient; messages in a conversation are visible to both participants. Content already delivered to another user remains available to that recipient even if you stop using the Service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to submit or transmit content that is illegal; that sexualizes, endangers, or involves minors in any way (zero tolerance — such content will be reported to the authorities); that is pornographic or sexually explicit; that depicts graphic violence or gore; that harasses, threatens, or targets any person; that promotes self-harm; that infringes another person's rights; or that is spam, malware, or an attempt to advertise. You also agree not to attempt to identify other users, circumvent bans, rate limits, moderation, or reputation mechanics, or access the Service by automated means.

5. Moderation and enforcement

Pictures and videos are reviewed by automated AI systems before delivery. Text is not pre-screened; users may report any content they receive. We may remove content, suspend access, or ban tokens and network addresses at our sole discretion, with or without notice, including automatically after repeated reports or a failed AI review. Ratings given by other users affect how your content is distributed, as described on the site. In-service reporting is the official channel for complaints about content, including reports of copyright infringement; content found to infringe another person's rights will be removed.

6. The Service is provided "as is"

The Service is an experimental hobby project provided without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee availability, delivery of content, preservation of data, or that content you receive will be inoffensive. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid to use it (currently: nothing).

7. Changes and termination

We may modify or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the operator's state of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
